The Greenspun Family Foundation supports many causes with an emphasis on education, health, children, Jewish issues, and the greater Las Vegas community.  Some current projects include:

Support of the Greenspun College of Urban Affairs at UNLV

  • » Scholarship opportunities provided to the students
  • » Funding for a major portion of the new building for
        the Greenspun College of Urban Affairs

The Las Vegas Sun Youth Forum
 Sponsored in cooperation with the Clark County School District, the Youth Forum is a way for students to comment on major issues of the day.  It is a unique program in the U.S. not only due to the innovative format, but longevity as well.  The Sun Youth Forum was established in 1956 by Hank Greenspun.

Educational Innovation Programs
The Greenspun Family supports and encourages educational innovation within the following schools:

  • » Andre Agassi School:  Charter School Program
  • » Antonello Elementary School – Empowerment School Program
  • » The Greenspun Family supports incentive programs, supplies and equipment; teacher training programs and school volunteer programs through its adoption of Martinez Elementary School, where most of the students fall well below the poverty line.

Outdoor Education Program:
The Greenspun Family supports positive summer educational activities for over 900 children who attend the Las Vegas Sun Summer Camp each year.

Various Foundations in Nevada
The Greenspun Family Foundation also supports various charitable activities throughout the Las Vegas community. Some of these activities include the support of:
